Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how iGrowth Young Athlete ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the iGrowth Young Athlete mobile app.

1. Who the app is for

The app is designed for parents and youth-sport coaches. Children are not the primary users. Parents and coaches may enter information about athletes they are responsible for.

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, password (stored by our authentication provider), and whether the account is a parent or coach account.
Athlete profiles: name, date of birth, gender, and sports.
Growth and activity records: height, weight, training sessions, games, weekly plans, and optional notes about how an athlete felt after training.
Coach collaboration: invite codes, approved coach links, team names, and coach-entered roster data.
Device information needed to operate the app: app version, timezone, and notification permission status.
Purchase status from Apple or Google when you subscribe. We do not receive your full payment card number.

3. How we use information

We use this information to create and secure your account, show growth and training insights, schedule local reminders, export PDFs you request, and provide parent-controlled coach sharing.

4. How we share information

Service providers: we store app data with Supabase, our hosted backend.
Coaches: a parent must approve a coach before that coach can see a linked athlete. Parents can revoke access.
App stores process subscription payments.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Children's information

We collect information about children only when a parent or coach enters it to use the app. We do not present the app as a product for children to use on their own, and we do not show third-party advertising in the app.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep account and athlete records while the account is active. You can delete a child profile or delete your entire account in Profile.

7. Security

Data is sent over HTTPS. Access to another family's athlete data is limited by account login and parent-approved coach links.
